Who batch QR codes are for
Making QR codes one at a time is fine for a single café. Once you have several venues, or several areas in one venue, a batch saves time and keeps every code looking the same.
- Restaurant and café groups with more than one location, each with its own menu or prices
- Franchises that want the same branded code design across every store
- Large venues with separate areas, such as a bar, dining room, terrace or function room
- Caterers and event venues that need a different menu for each event or room
- Hotels with a restaurant, room service and pool bar menu
How to roll out QR menus across your venues
- Create one free menu per location in the QR menu generator and copy each menu link.
- List your locations in a spreadsheet with a name column and a link column, then export it as CSV.
- Upload the CSV here, pick one colour and style for the whole batch, and check the preview.
- Download a ZIP for your designer, or the A4 PDF sheet to print and cut straight away.
- Scan one code from each sheet before you laminate or place them on tables.
Tips for printing QR codes in bulk
- Keep the location label on, so codes don't get mixed up between venues or areas.
- Use dark codes on a light background; low contrast is the most common reason a code won't scan.
- Use SVG files for large signs and window decals, because they stay sharp at any size.
- Leave tracking on, so you can fix a wrong link later without printing everything again.

Batch QR code FAQ
Which links should I use for each location?
Paste any https:// link. With tracking on (the default), we turn each one into a short MenuMagicQR link, so you get scan stats and can change where it points later without reprinting.
How do I get a menu link for each location?
Create one free menu per venue in the generator, copy each menu's link, then paste them here as Name, link - one per line.
Can I upload a spreadsheet?
Yes. Export a CSV from Excel or Google Sheets with the location name in one column and the menu link in another. Header rows are skipped automatically, up to 100 locations per batch.
What do I get in the download?
A ZIP of PNG or SVG files named after each location, plus a locations.csv index, or an A4 PDF sheet with six labelled codes per page, ready to print.
Is the batch QR code generator free?
Yes. You can create and download up to 100 codes per batch for free, with no signup. Create a free account later if you want to manage the links from a dashboard.
Can I change where a code points after printing?
Yes, when tracking is on. Each code opens a short MenuMagicQR link, so once the links are on your free account you can point any location to a new menu without reprinting.
Should every location have its own QR code?
Usually, yes. Separate codes let each venue show its own menu and prices, and you can see how many scans each location gets instead of one combined number.
